The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has leaked so frequently in the past couple of months (heck, even Samsung’s head of Mobile Communications confirmed it), that the device may as well be out already.
The latest news about the compact tablet is that it’s set to hit
retail in Europe at the end of March for around €359 for the WiFi only
version (€449 if you throw 3G into the mix). Compare this to €329 for
the iPad mini (€429 with 3G), and you can see that Samsung aim to
directly compete with the smaller iPad with their upcoming product.
It’s no secret that Samsung plan to officially “unveil” the device at
MWC later this month, although given how often the device has leaked,
you can almost take the 1,280 x 800 pixel Super Clear LCD display
alongside quad-core 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos 4412 processor, 5 MP primary
and 1.3 front-facing cameras, 2 GB of RAM, 16/32 GB internal memory,
and 4600 mAh battery to the bank.
Be sure to check back with us for our full MWC coverage next week,
where we’ll have all you need to know about the Note 8.0 and much, much
more.
